On 15 May 2025, the PLIADES project proudly participated in the Data Spaces Support Centre Technology Thematic Group (TTG) workshop on Data Privacy and Protection in Data Spaces. Organised online via Microsoft Teams, the workshop brought together experts from leading data space initiatives to explore critical topics related to privacy, security and the future of trustworthy data sharing.
Claudius Laves (Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt) represented the PLIADES project, contributing a dedicated presentation on Security and privacy issues related to data spaces. His input highlighted the challenges and proposed solutions that the PLIADES project is addressing, particularly regarding secure, privacy-respecting data exchange in cross-sectorial mobility ecosystems.
The agenda featured keynote interventions by Freek Bomhof (TNO) and Roberto Cascella (ECSO), as well as insights from the Green Deal Data Space SAGE and the TANGO project. A lively discussion followed, encouraging collaboration across communities of practice and strategic support facilities.
We thank the organisers and participants for the engaging session and look forward to continuing the dialogue around data privacy and protection in the evolving data space landscape.
Stay tuned for further updates from the PLIADES project!
