This work introduces three major contributions:
- ArtifactOps: A methodology that unifies DevOps, DataOps, and MLOps, treating artifacts as first-class citizens in the pipeline lifecycle.
- ArtifactDL: A declarative language for modeling diverse pipelines — from CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code to data and AI workflows — in a consistent and expressive manner.
- Infrastructure & Governance Support: ArtifactDL integrates infrastructure modeling, governance rules, and flexible deployment strategies, bridging the gap between research and real-world deployment.
This research was conducted as part of the European PLIADES project, focused on AI-enabled data lifecycle optimization.
