Joint strategic report published after ADRF2025 workshop

Following the successful joint workshop of PLIADES and its sister projects CyclOps, DS2, CEDAR and NOUS at ADRF2025 in Stavanger, Norway, the projects have now published a joint strategic report capturing the main outcomes of the session.

The workshop, titled “Breaking Boundaries for Europe: Driving Innovation Through Data Spaces, AI-Enhanced Value Networks, and Emerging Robotics Applications,” brought together experts from the five projects to discuss how trusted data sharing, AI integration and robotics applications can jointly accelerate innovation across sectors.

The discussion highlighted:

• The importance of interoperable and trusted data spaces
• The role of AI-enhanced value networks in cross-sector collaboration
• Emerging robotics applications enabled by secure data ecosystems
• Key enablers and barriers for building scalable European data infrastructures

Based on the workshop exchanges, the projects jointly developed recommendations for strengthening collaboration between data space initiatives and supporting Europe’s competitiveness in AI and robotics innovation.
